The Kneipp hiking Trail
The 50 km Kneipp hiking trail connects the three Kneipp spas Bad Grönenbach, Ottobeuren and Bad Wörishofen. The route is based on the important stations in the life of Sebastian Kneipp and requires about thirteen hours of time. A challenging hike with a variety of special stations such as the Kneipp fountain, the educational garden in Bad Grönenbach, the basilica in Ottobeuren and the monument to the birthplace of Sebastian Kneipp.
The pilgrimage route of St. James
In 1987 the Council of Europe declared the Jakobusweg as the first European cultural route. Approximately 11 km, a section of the trail leads from the marketplace in Bad Grönenbach to Altusried. In about three hours the way can be walked through Herbisried, Sommersberg and other places.
The trilogy tour
The Allgäu Hiking Trilogy comprises a unique network of long-distance hiking trails through the entire Allgäu region. Hiking experiences on a total of 876 kilometers are offered in 51 stages. A 5.5 km long circuit leads through Bad Grönenbach. Within 1.5 hours, the various sights of Bad Grönenbach can be discovered.
